"Knowledge of the Absolute"
Lord Krishna is the Supreme Truth, the supreme cause and power supporting all that exists - spiritual and material. Virtuous and devoted souls surrender themselves to Him, but sinners find other objects for worship.
So, we have begun the second part of the Bhagavad-gita, which consists of three sections of 6 chapters each. This means that the Bhagavad-gita has a structure that carries a special purpose. Bhagavad-gita is not an ordinary work, it is a dialogue between God and a person who finds himself in the most difficult situation that you can get on this planet.
This conversation took place on the Kurukshetra field before the decisive battle of good and evil. And the main warrior Arjuna needed to make very serious decisions, he had to sacrifice his attachments for a great idea, for a mission, for a higher purpose. However, the first time he didn’t succeed, and Arjuna decided to abandon the battle, turning to the system of renunciation and simply doing training in order to thoroughly understand how to behave in difficult situations. But Krishna explained to him that abandoning the battle is not the best solution, since he can refuse the battle on the battlefield of Kuruksetra, but he still will not be able to refuse the fight in his own heart.
Our whole life is an ongoing struggle either with external obstacles or with internal ones. And as in any war, you must have good weapons in order to win the battle with an equally experienced opponent. And this weapon is given to us in the Bhagavad-gita - a weapon consisting of spiritual knowledge that allows us to make the right decisions no matter what difficult situation we are in. And before us is not just a task, we have a super task - to solve the problems of birth, illness, old age and death. And there is a solution to this problem - it is called holiness, and the weapon of the saint is divine knowledge, which is fully represented in this universal work.
